This principle might sound too real
or illogical but in the end it is the way of the universe and I am only
opportune to pen it down.
Someone ask: After secondary school
what next?
Another ask after first degree,
what next?
Another ask after second degree,
what next?
Another ask after third degree,
what next?
Another ask after training what
next?
Another ask after Life what
next? Heaven or Hell
From the above I can confidently
answer that last question but for the others I can only advice that you use
what you have to get what you need.
We have to realise as humans that
despite the opportunity to plan for the future will still cannot say precisely
how the future will play out and we must use the cards that life decks at us to
get what we want from life. We must use what we have at hand to get what we need.
When a pretty lady with good accent secures a marketing position for a wonderful
firm, we must not be quick to condemn the employer for looking at external but
rather remember she uses what she has to get what she needs. Using what you
have to get what you need is a biblical principle. God asked Moses what is in
your hand? Moses replied a rod and he later used that rod to perform miracles
that lead to the deliverance of Israelites. The world is not fair and that shows
up in many instances and even the Holy Bible said ‘the race is not for the
swift, neither battle for the strong nor riches for intelligence people but
time and chance happen to them all.’
For a student with time, the
student must use that time, which is what the student have now to get knowledge
that would be use to earn income tomorrow.
It is when you use what you have
today contrary to God’s will or in disobedience to other command of God that it
becomes a sin but the general principle of using what you have to get what you need
is real in planet Earth. In pursuit of life’s dreams we must compete legitimately,
legally and righteously using what we have at our disposal to get what we need
in life.
A graduate uses his certificate and
time to get income which is necessary to feed himself and his family. We need
to debunk teaching that tells us to wait for our boat to return home instead of
swimming to meet it. We also need to use the little knowledge of the Scripture we
have now and win a soul instead of waiting to become a world acclaimed
evangelist. You never can understand the impact you will achieve by using what
you have now.
We cannot wait around and gaze into
the sky any longer, we have to take actions and always remember, ‘USE WHAT YOU
HAVE TO GET WHAT YOU NEED’
