ANOTHER NIGHTMARE

Someone cannot just sit still or wait outside forever without joining the growing discourse of Ebola; the name of a river that has become popular (rather dreadful) than the country of her origin. The river has achieved feat that some river will never achieved because her name has make history. The river where EBOLA is reborn.

Everywhere, I turn in this lovely country of Good people, Great nation. I can’t but smile when I see how my countrymen react to the name of the river Ebola. To me the letters of the river name simply mean: excellent, beautiful, outstanding, loving and awesome; yet no one will for everything in the world go to the river. The river seems so far from my country but a man named Patrick Sawyer brought the fruits to my country and now my country is totally apprehensive. The river is everything never wanted by my countrymen. From an economist viewpoint, I love to describe the fruit of the river as some of the prophesied corrective check of nation to overpopulation as predicted by the late Reverend Thomas Malthus. The launch of deforestation and ocean reclamation has limited the biodiversity which has led to cohabitation of man and other living organisms with the ever increasing results.
What if we had curb over population?
What if the national population commission is preaching population control through the Malthusians and neo-Malthusian principles of abstinence, late marriages, family planning etc?
What if?
Perhaps we would not be singing the name of faraway Congo River in my country.
... but all is not lost.
many of her victims are not aware. The river flows with allurement and sweetness which in itself is not bad but the killer disease makes the river dreadful
I want to emphasise the need to look beyond the virus and consider another virus in another river. Just like the human immunodeficiency virus, this virus has a window period and this period could last over a life time, which makes people to neglect the possibility of ever having this virus. The river is called EDEN, which means: elusive, dynamite, elevation and nature.

The union between the two rivers is that the only cure is found in the fruit of a mountaintop plant. On the mountaintop is a plant whose fruits heal the effect of the virus gotten from these two rivers. The irony is that the symptoms of this disease are not annoying or agonizing but it is strength and vigour depleting and by the time the disease is full blown, death is inevitable. It takes a whole miracle to be healed from this disease but the beauty is that in this present day the fruits of this mountain tree plant can be accessed anywhere by a single prayer and you will be instantaneously cure are free.
