.
It
was all rosy and sweet on a summer day. The street is full of pomp and
pageantry, the evening is cool, the music is loud, the holiday is long and the
seaside view is simply intoxication. It
was everything a break could be and much...
And
then it happen, just like the historical king who was lazy to be leading a
battle of her kingdom but got so energise in taking off the clothes of his
trusted army’s wife; so also was this young man lazy in pursuing his conviction
but busy in putting them down.
It
started with a question why, then a comparative analysis between living a life
with conviction and living a life without conviction.
It
was supposed to just be a test of enjoyment without restraint. A little
dilly-dally on the table of lasciviousness won’t be too bad after all these
years of integrity but it became a life style. The taste was yummy and the
marginal propensity to continue in lasciviousness was absolute one and like a
baby that is so keen in unwrapping Santa’s gift; this young man continue in his
downward spiral of lasciviousness. Everything was sweet but not without the
soar taste. The remembrance of the days of conviction and the single decision
to stray with its attending guilt kept flushing back to this man heart but like
a powerless captive, he is bound by the hands of lasciviousness. The desire to
return can’t be achieved because like a foreigner he does not know the path in
the city. Now he wishes he never stray but like a typical youth that thinks he
is losing out on the temporary enjoyment of this world, he went out but not
without a cost. Days turn into month and months into year and yet the
unwavering gatekeeper of lasciviousness has shut the door against this young
man and will not allow him to go back to his conviction and live again his life
of integrity.
Will
this young man die in this land of lasciviousness or find a way back home?
Will
he ever regain his integrity and live a righteous life again?
Will
this perpetual rather perplexing lifestyle be overcome?
Will
a higher force ever come to help this man against the gatekeepers?
Will? Will? Will?
Many
countless questions and regrets on this man heart and he faces the future without
any hope of returning home.
Will
he ever return home?
Yes,
because the Saviour gently waits and when He calls on Jesus, all things are
possible.
